7th Grade Math: During the week of Dec. 19-20, the 7th grade will be doing their "Mock Holiday Shopping and Dinner." As a result, we are in need of sales ads. Students can earn one point extra credit for bringing in these advertisements. Along with big box stores, we need grocery store ads. This extra credit opportunity ends Dec. 13. It's time for the Scholastic Book Fair! The fair will be here from Monday, 11/28 to Friday, 12/2 and will be set up in the media center. Each elementary grade will be be coming down on their assigned day as a class to shop, and there are also shopping times open to junior high and high school students. Please see the attached schedule. We will also be open to the public on Wednesday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm! Come and browse around and get your Christmas shopping done! We can take cash, check, and card. While there are many fun goodies available for purchase in addition to books, students will be required to buy at least one book before they can pick out a poster, pen, etc. to buy. Also, keep in mind that there is sales tax on all purchases. Thank you, and please contact Mrs. Shephard at shephardr@peckschools.net with any questions.

Each Jr/Sr High School Teacher & Staff will have a stocking hung in the office. We encourage our parents to buy small items to stuff the stockings with. Jr/Sr High teachers don't always get the Christmas presents that Elementary teachers do. This is a FUN and easy way to show all of our teachers how much they are appreciated this Holiday Season. As you are shopping, don't forget to pick up something small for our teachers. We have 18 staff members on the Jr/Sr High School side.

Our Clubs have been working hard this week. Our Kindness Club paid Mrs. Blatt a visit today. Earlier this week she had to make the tough decision to say goodbye to her beloved dog. The students made her the most heartfelt cards to show their love and support to her and her family. Our Cooking Club made an amazing FEAST this afternoon to celebrate Thanksgiving. We are so proud of our Peck Pirates and the amazing things they are doing!

NHS is hosting a drive to support Eva's Place during the holiday season. Students in K-5 classrooms are competing to earn an ice cream party by bringing in the most donations, but students in ALL grades are encouraged to help support Sanilac County's only shelter for women and children fleeing dangerous living conditions. The link below contains a list of suggested donations. https://5il.co/1ko62
