Good afternoon. Elk township FD and Tri-County EMS were on scene today responding to a medical emergency. The JH/HS was placed in lockdown so that first responders could navigate the scene.
The final book fair of the school year will run next week, from Monday, May 20th until Friday, May 24th. Because we hosted two regular book fairs, Scholastic rewards us by letting us do a BOGO-FREE sale! This applies to EVERYTHING sold at the fair! Please see the attached schedule for your child's class shopping day. We will also be open to the public one evening, as well!

Hello, parents of NEXT YEAR's Middle School students! The 5th grade is going to sponsor a middle school dance for CURRENT 5th-7th grade students (next year's 6-8 students) on Wed. 6/5/2024 from after school until 5:00 pm. Good Morning! Reminder that tomorrow, Sat. May 11th the 10th grade class is hosting a JR/SR High dance. 7:00-9:00 in the cafeteria. Entrance will be through the cafeteria doors. Cost is $5/person or $8/couple, at the door. No outside guests allowed. Please be sure to arrange transportation for pick up by 9:00pm!!! Thank you!!!!

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is next week!! Mrs. Heath’s 5th-grade class would like to show our appreciation for all the Peck teachers and staff who work so hard to support the children of this community. We are asking all students from the high school and elementary school to bring in a bag of candy to contribute to our Candy Salad! Other items that could be contributed are chips, nuts, crackers, gum, pens, Expo markers, sticky notes, K-cups, apples, trial sizes of soap/lotion/lip balm, gift cards, thank you/support notes, etc. We hope to get enough goodies to bag up and share with ALL the staff at Peck Community Schools (pictures to follow!). Please have your child drop off the treats and goodies either at the elementary or high school office or Mrs. Heath's classroom. Thank you so much for supporting all of the staff at Peck Community Schools. Please make sure these items are brought in by Tuesday, May 7, so our class has enough time to get them all dispersed. The class is very excited about doing this!!
