Do you have a student entering grades 6th-12th who doesn't participate in volleyball or football? Cross Country may be a good fit for them. Our cross country program is entering its fourth year. Our coach, Kellie Schultz is returning for her second year running the program. Coach Schultz is currently a classroom aide in our elementary school, she ran cross country in high school and is an avid runner.
Meets are held 2-3 times a week at the most, including Saturday mornings for some of the larger invitationals. Cross country is a great way for students to stay active and engaged as well as meet new people. Countless research shows that students who participate in extracurricular activities experience increased academic success.
Currently, Coach Schultz is working out on the track with runners on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 9 am. Please contact her directly to sign your son/daughter up or to ask any questions by emailing schultzk@peckschools.net
