Peck Community Schools has been asked to pause in-person instruction for the next two weeks, through April 23rd. Below is a list of services and programs that will be offered during this shutdown.
Athletics and Athlete Testing
Athletics will continue as scheduled, students must report to the high school gym on Wednesday from 2 pm-3:30 pm for mandatory testing. Any student who does not test will not be allowed to participate.
State Testing
All state testing has been postponed until we return to in-person learning. The Michigan Merit Exam (for Juniors) will take place on May 18th.
Learning Lab
The media center will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays for K-12 students who need internet access to complete work. Masks and social distancing are required.
Elementary: 9 am-noon
JH/HS: noon to 3 pm
Food Pickup
All students are eligible for free meals during the shutdown. Meal pick-up will be in the circle drive on Wednesdays from 12:30-1:30. A signup form will be released Monday afternoon, please complete it if you anticipate you will use this service.
Special Education Services
Each student who has an IEP will be contacted directly by Mrs. Gordon or Mrs. Burns to make arrangements for services during the shutdown.
School Counseling and Social Work Services
Counseling services will be available from 9 am-noon on Tuesday and Thursday for all students in grades K-12. Please call ahead to make an appointment.
Social Work services will be provided remotely as needed. Please call your building office and leave a message for our school social worker, Mrs. McPhilimy.
