The short answer--I'm not sure. But, late last week Governor Whitmer announced that schools may begin "in-person" instruction this fall following mandatory health and safety protocols. The mandatory protocols are being developed right now and have been promised to be released to local districts on or before June 30th.
Once the "Roadmap to Learn" is released, Peck Community Schools will work as quickly as possible to develop a comprehensive plan that meets the state's expectations and ensures the safety of students and staff. We will work as a team and with the other school districts in the county to make sure students continue to receive the highest quality services. This comprehensive plan is tentatively scheduled to be released to the public following next month's Board of Education meeting on July 16th.
I appreciate everyone's understanding and patience at this time. We will work throughout the summer to update and inform the community to the best of our ability. The staff is excited to return this fall and we look forward to seeing all of our Peck Pirates.
